Alabama is No. 1 in the AP Preseason Poll for the seventh time u Michigan vs. Ohio State Rivalry Gear nder Nick Saban.
The Crimson Tide received 54 of 63 first-place votes and will start the season at No. 1 for the fourth time in the last six seasons. Alabama has won a national title in only College Cold Weather Jerseys one of those seven seasons when it started as the Preseason No. 1, and that was in 2017.
Ohio State, which received six first-place votes, opened at No. 2. The Buckeyes finished 11-2 in 2021 but are the heavy favorites to win the Big Ten because of a loaded offense under fourth-year coach Ryan Day.
Georgia, which won the national championship in 2020, is ranked No. 3. The Bulldogs received three first-place votes.
