As the much-anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya approaches, actor Shalin Bhanot is urging the nation to come together in celebration. Just two days away from the historic event, Bhanot was spotted ardently participating in the cleaning preparations at the temple, donned in a white t-shirt and denim pants.
Sharing his sentiments about the temple clean-up drive, the Bigg Boss 16 fame actor expressed, “This is by chance that you caught me cleaning here; otherwise, I visit Hanuman Temple every Saturday. And Lord Rama is my God, we pray to him, including my grandparents. Lord Rama is my special God, you know, my favourite God, and on the 22nd, he is coming. I am not able to visit Ayodhya, but I am as excited about Lord Rama coming to the Temple as everyone else who is going to be there. I am super happy and excited.”
When questioned about the consecration ceremony itself, Shalin shared, “I don’t organize Diwali parties at my home; I have never had a Diwali party ever. But it will now happen, and it will take place on the 22nd of January. I will organize a Kirtan party at home with my close family and friends.”
Highlighting the significance of the day, he emphasized, “It is a huge day; Lord Rama is coming back. It is a massive day for the entire nation, so everyone, in whatever capacity they can, should clean their homes and temples, light a Diya, and celebrate in their homes.”
This initiative spearheaded by Shalin Bhanot forms part of the collective preparations leading up to the grand Ayodhya Lord Ram temple consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22.
