Viineet Kumar Singh, who played the role of the villainous Simulu in Jaat, recently took to social media to express his gratitude for the incredible opportunity and experience. In his heartfelt note, he reflected on his journey with the film and the team that made it possible.
"Feeling Truly Blessed to share some behind-the-scenes moments from #JAAT. My heartfelt gratitude to Director @megopichand for believing in me and bringing Somulu to life. This is the first time I've played a villain — something I never thought about before. But Gopi Sir’s conviction made me take the leap. This role has been such a good teacher, and I’m grateful for this experience!" Viineet wrote.
He went on to thank the people who supported him throughout the process. "Thank you to the director Gopi Sir, @MythriOfficial, and @peoplemediafcy for this amazing opportunity," he added. He also expressed his joy in working with his childhood hero, Sunny Deol, calling it a dream come true. "Working with @iamsunnydeol sir was a dream come true. Grateful for his guidance and warmth," he said. He further thanked his co-actors, including @RandeepHooda, @SaiyamiKher, and #ReginaCassandra, along with the writers and the entire team behind the scenes.
Viineet made special mention of the technical crew, including cinematographer @RishiPunjabi5 and the action directors who made his performance come to life. "Special thanks to my cinematographer @RishiPunjabi5, and action directors Ram Sir, Laxman Sir, Peter Master, and Venkatesh Sir," he wrote.
He also acknowledged the producers and the direction team, including Naveen Anna, Ravi Anna, and @vishwaprasadtg Sir, for their constant support. "Thank you to #JP (Jai Prakash), #BabaSai – you both were always there for me during this shoot and now too," he added.
Viineet concluded his note with gratitude for the success of Jaat and shared his excitement for future projects. "This being my first South production, I’m blown away by the passion and talent of everyone involved. Working with this team has been a dream, and I’m so grateful for the experience," he said. "Humbled by all the love—Jaat is my third success this year after Chhaava and Superboys of Malegaon," he added. "I’m excited to see what the future holds and thank everyone for their hard work and dedication."
