Universal Pictures has officially released the highly anticipated promo teaser for their upcoming live-action adaptation of How to Train Your Dragon, bringing the beloved animated story to life with a fresh, live-action twist. Written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Dean DeBlois, the film promises to deliver the same heart, adventure, and breathtaking visuals that made the original animated trilogy a global sensation.
Set on the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, the story follows Hiccup (played by Mason Thames), the inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler, reprising his role from the animated films). Hiccup defies centuries of Viking tradition when he befriends Toothless, a fearsome Night Fury dragon.
