Triptii Dimri just made her fans’ day — not with a film announcement or red carpet look, but by introducing a brand-new member of her family. And no, it’s not another actor or co-star... it’s a dog!
Taking to her Instagram, the Dhadak 2 actress shared the cutest set of photos featuring her snuggling up with her new fur buddy in a car, all smiles and paws. In her caption, she wrote:
“Our family just got bigger 🐶✨ Welcome home Lychee 💓”
The moment couldn’t have been more wholesome.
Triptii didn’t just drop a picture — she gave fans a full glimpse into Lychee’s first day home. The post includes clips of the pup adjusting to his new surroundings, chewing on a toy, and getting comfy on his new bed like he’s been part of the house forever.
In an unexpected twist, Lychee now shares the space with two cats, who are clearly less enthusiastic about the new addition.
Triptii joins a long list of Bollywood celebrities who’ve shown their love for dogs. From Alia Bhatt’s Edward to Priyanka Chopra’s beloved Diana, star pets are almost as famous as their owners these days.
Now with Lychee's arrival, Triptii adds her name to the list of celebs who can’t resist puppy love — and fans are already following Lychee’s every move.
While her dog-mom debut is making headlines, Triptii is also having a serious career moment. Last seen in Dhadak 2, where she received praise for her intense screen presence, Triptii’s plate is overflowing with major upcoming projects.
Triptii will next be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in O’ Romeo, a Vishal Bhardwaj directorial that’s already generating serious buzz. The film is said to be a high-octane action thriller, featuring Nana Patekar in a pivotal role. Slated for a Valentine’s Day 2026 release, this marks Bhardwaj and Shahid’s fourth collaboration after Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon.
In a major casting switch-up, Triptii replaces Deepika Padukone as the female lead in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s much-anticipated Spirit, opposite Prabhas. This is her first collaboration with the Baahubali star, and expectations are sky-high. She will also share screen space with Madhuri Dixit in Ma Behan, a drama that explores the bond between two very different women — a rare dynamic in Bollywood today. In a sequel-of-sorts to Animal, Triptii stars opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Animal Park, which is expected to dive deeper into the darker, psychological elements of the original.
Rounding out her lineup is an untitled action-drama opposite Yash of KGF fame a massive pan-India project that could take Triptii’s stardom to the next level.
Triptii Dimri has clearly mastered the art of balancing blockbuster films and personal joy. While fans eagerly await her next on-screen move, they’re just as invested in her new off-screen adventure — dog mom to Lychee. From cinema halls to car rides with puppies, Triptii is living her best life and we’re loving every second of it.
