The 15th edition of the IFP Festival in Bandra, Mumbai, saw a dazzling lineup of stars including Adarsh Gourav, Vishal Jethwa, Anjali Sivaraman, and Zahan Kapoor. Known for its celebration of creativity and multi-disciplinary talent, IFP (formerly India Film Project) continues to attract both industry veterans and emerging artists, making it a cornerstone event in India’s cultural calendar.
The festival is widely recognized for its signature 50 Hour challenges, which test participants across filmmaking, music, design, photography, writing, and performing arts under tight, time-bound conditions. In 2024, these challenges drew over 53,000 participants from 42 countries, showcasing the global appeal of this unique format. The 50 Hour Filmmaking Challenge, the oldest and flagship of the competitions, has been a highlight since its inception in 2011.
After the challenges conclude, the festival transforms into a two-day celebration in Mumbai, bringing together luminaries from film, music, literature, digital media, design, performing arts, gaming, and technology. Attendees participate in interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions, making it a hub for both learning and networking.
This year’s festival reinforced IFP’s commitment to nurturing creativity while providing a platform for participants and industry leaders to converge. With its mix of competitive spirit, cultural immersion, and star-studded interactions, the IFP Festival remains one of India’s most dynamic creative events.
