Sony Pictures Classics has just dropped the trailer for The Penguin Lessons, a heartwarming film based on the bestselling book by Tom Michell. Set against the backdrop of Argentina in 1976, this true story follows an Englishman named Tom Michell, who travels to Argentina to teach at a school, only to discover a nation in turmoil and a class of unruly, difficult students. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he finds a small penguin stranded on an oil-slicked beach. The penguin, which he names Juan Salvador, becomes more than just a pet – it becomes a life-changing companion and a teacher of invaluable lessons for Tom, his students, and everyone in his life.
