Bollywood favourite Raveena Tandon has taken fans on a beautiful journey down memory lane with her recent visit to Ooty (Udhagamandalam), returning to the hill station after more than 25 years. The actress revisited the dreamy locales where some of her most memorable ’90s songs were filmed — songs that continue to live rent-free in the hearts of an entire generation.
Sharing a heartfelt note on Instagram, Raveena wrote, “Back to Ooty after 25 years or more and totally loving it! Revisited all the locations! Memories, songs, people…” Her words instantly transported fans back to the decade where she reigned as one of Bollywood’s most radiant leading ladies, delivering chartbusters and unforgettable screen moments.
Her carousel of photos and videos not only showcased the beauty of Ooty but also blended past and present with snippets from two iconic song sequences one with Ajay Devgn and another with Sanjay Dutt both shot in the lush valleys she stood in once again.
Raveena revisited a famous song from Dilwale (1994), where she starred opposite Ajay Devgn. The track, adored for its catchy music, youthful spark and the electric chemistry between the two stars, was shot across Ooty’s sprawling meadows. Her return to those very spots decades later created the perfect nostalgic echo — a moment where time seemed to fold back on itself.
Another highlight of her trip was her visit to the location of “Kal Maine Khuli Aankh Se Ek Sapna Dekha” from Jeena Marna Tere Sang (1992), featuring Sanjay Dutt. The song remains a fan favourite for its soothing melody and postcard-perfect visuals. Raveena’s revisit to the original shooting site felt like watching a sepia-tinted memory come alive — a beautiful reminder of why ’90s Bollywood romance remains unmatched.
Raveena Tandon has always been more than just a leading lady — she was, and remains, a cultural icon of the 1990s. Her songs became dance-floor staples, her fashion influenced an entire generation, and her screen presence defined Bollywood’s most vibrant decade. Even today, her performances and pairings, especially with Govinda, Ajay Devgn, and Sanjay Dutt, are remembered with warmth and admiration.
While she took a moment to relive her past, Raveena is far from slowing down. She will next be seen in the upcoming Tamil family drama tentatively titled Suriya 46, directed by Venky Atluri and slated for release in 2026. With music by G. V. Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Nimish Ravi, the film marks another exciting chapter in her evolving career.
