Rashami Desai, the versatile actress known for her powerful presence in both television and film, recently opened up about several significant moments in her career, including the Fevicol song offer, her Gujarati film’s success, and her experiences working with Bollywood icons like R. Madhavan and Salman Khan.

Rashami revealed that she was initially offered the Fevicol Se song before it was given to Kareena Kapoor Khan. "I had done an ad before with Salman Khan. After that,  I was approached by his team for the song, but at that time, I couldn’t take it up because of my prior commitments. Later, the song went to Kareena ma’am, and it became a massive hit," she shared. Despite missing out on the iconic song, Rashmi maintains a professional approach to her work and emphasizes, "I could not work then, but if I got the opportunity now, I would definitely take it."

She adds, "At that time, I was under contract with Colors, which is why I had to decline the offer. I have always been professional with my commitments."

Rashami firmly believes that her work speaks for itself. "I am happy that at that time, my name was even considered for the Fevicol song. I don’t focus much on what didn’t happen; I focus on the work I’ve done. That’s all I ever talk about,"

She also expressed immense pride in her recent Gujarati film "Mom Tane Nai Samjay' , which has been performing exceptionally well, in its fourth week. "I feel lucky to be part of this type of subject as an actor. It is a dream role. The film is about a mother, and I’ve never portrayed such a mature character before," she revealed.

She opened up about her initial struggles with the role, saying, "I wasn’t sure if I would do justice to such a character because it was so different from my previous roles, like in comedy or dance. But with the help of my coach, director, and co-actor Amar Upadhyay, I gradually found my rhythm."

Rashami also discussed her experience working with R. Madhavan in the film Hisaab Barabar, where she replaced Shilpa Shinde, who had to drop out due to health concerns. "They were looking for someone who could speak Bihari, and since I had done Bihari and Bhojpuri films before, I fit the bill," she explained.

She went on to share how working with R. Madhavan made her nervous. "When I saw Madhavan sir on set, I became nervous. But I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him as an actor. It was a great learning experience." Rashmi’s scenes in the film are primarily with Madhavan, and despite initial nerves, she is thankful for the experience.
