Actress Rajshri Deshpande, who played the role of Neelam Krishnamoorthy in hit Netflix series Trial By Fire, celebrate first year anniversary of its release and pens a heartfelt note.
Based on the book Trial by Fire: The Tragic Tale of the Uphaar Fire Tragedy authored by Neelam Krishnamoorthy and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy. Released in 2023, Trial By Fire series written by Prashant Nair, Kevin Luperchio and directed by Prashant Nair and Randeep Jha and Avani Deshpande. The series starred Abhay Deol, Ashish Vidyarthi, Anupam Kher, Rajshri Deshpande, Rajesh Tailang, Ratna Pathak Shah, Shilpa Shukla, Shardul Bharadwaj and others.
Sharing a string of pictures on her social media, Rajshri captioned her post, “Today #Trialbyfire completed 1 year on @NetflixIndia, Unforgettable day not only because our show released but because how Ansals put a stay on our show and then how @Neelamshekhar spent entire day in court to fight for justice and came back triumph. Forever in awe of her courage.”

Trial By Fire is probably only Indian series which holds a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating.
On the work front, Rajshri is currently enjoying the success of Satyashodhak, a biographical film directed by Nilesh Jalamkar, based on the life of Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule.
