Quiver has just dropped the trailer for The Comic Shop, a heartfelt film directed by Jonathan L. Bowen, with the screenplay written by Bowen and Scott Reed. The movie stars Jesse Metcalfe, Tristan Mays, Micah Giovanni, Trevor Einhorn, Eric Roberts, and more, offering a captivating narrative about second chances, friendship, and rediscovering one's true passion.
The story follows Mike D'Angelo (Jesse Metcalfe), the owner of a small comic shop in a Las Vegas strip mall. Once a promising comic book illustrator, Mike was forced to give up his creative dreams and pursue a more practical path, opening his own business. After the pandemic takes a toll on his shop, Mike struggles to keep things afloat, even laying off his best worker and closest friend, Alex (Tristin Mays). Though he believes his artistic aspirations are behind him, Mike is reignited with hope when he meets Brandon (Micah Giovanni), and together with Alex, the trio embarks on a journey to revive the store and reclaim their dreams.
Set for release on April 11th, 2025, The Comic Shop promises to be an inspiring tale about the power of art, the importance of friendship, and the pursuit of one’s true calling, even when life takes unexpected turns.
