At the trailer launch of the upcoming comedy film Mere Husband Ki Biwi in Mumbai on Saturday, producer Jackky Bhagnani shared his excitement about the film and reflected on the journey of making it. He expressed his admiration for director Mudassar Aziz and the entire team, emphasizing that comedy has always been a cornerstone of his family’s legacy in the film industry.
“We’ve always been known for making comedies in our family, and in today’s space, there’s no better director in the comedy genre than Mudassar,” Jackky said. “I feel that if we can make people laugh, then there’s nothing better than that. Our aim is simple: to bring smiles to your faces, and I hope we succeed in doing that.”
Jackky went on to share some personal insights about the film's making, describing it as one of the most enjoyable experiences of his career. “This has been one of the most fun sets I’ve ever been a part of. If I’ve had the most fun on any set in my life, it’s been while making this film,” he revealed. “Mudassar and I go a long way, Arjun and I go a long way, and we’ve had so much fun. This has been the best experience ever.”
With the film centered around the complexities and humor of relationships, Jackky and his team seem confident in their ability to deliver both laughter and entertainment.
Jackky’s enthusiasm for making people laugh highlights the joy he finds in his work, making Mere Husband Ki Biwi a promising addition to the family’s comedy film repertoire.
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh, Mere Husband Ki Biwi starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh is set to arrive in cinemas on February 21, 2025.
