Makers of Ikkis Honor Arun Khetrapal on Vijay Diwas

In celebration of Vijay Diwas, which marks India's victory in the 1971 war, the makers of the highly anticipated biographical drama Ikkis took to social media to honor the legacy of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, a war hero and recipient of India's highest military honor, the Param Vir Chakra.
 
The official handle of Maddock Films shared a powerful poster of the film, accompanied by a heartfelt message: "On Vijay Diwas, we honour the indomitable spirit of Arun Khetrapal, recipient of India’s highest military honour, the Param Vir Chakra. His bravery continues to inspire us to this day." The post also highlighted the significance of the Battle of Basantar and the immense courage exhibited by Khetrapal during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
 
Ikkis is set against the backdrop of this historic conflict, focusing on the life and sacrifice of Arun Khetrapal. The film promises to bring to life the heroics of a young officer who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country at the age of just 21.
 
Directed and written by Sriram Raghavan, the film stars veteran actor Dharmendra, critically acclaimed actor Jaideep Ahlawat, and marks the debut of Agastya Nanda, who will portray Arun Khetrapal. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, known for bringing compelling stories to the big screen.
 
With a focus on one of India's most celebrated war heroes, Ikkis is expected to be a tribute to courage, valor, and patriotism. As the nation commemorates Vijay Diwas, Ikkis is set to inspire new generations with the story of a true Indian hero. The film is expected to captivate audiences with its powerful narrative and stellar performances.
