Bollywood fans have been eagerly awaiting the debut of Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan, and now the title of his upcoming film has been revealed. The romantic-comedy, which also stars Khushi Kapoor, has been titled Loveyapa. Phantom Studios shared an intriguing first look poster of the film on social media, alongside a playful caption that reads, “Situationship? Relationship? Love ka syapa? ya Loveyapa?” The movie is slated for release on February 7, 2025, and promises to offer a fresh take on love and its many complications.
Directed by Advait Chandan, known for his work on the successful Laal Singh Chaddha, Loveyapa explores the tangled emotions and hilarious complexities of modern relationships. The film, produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, has been described as a “tangled tale of love and its complications with a mix of fun and laughter,” making it a much-anticipated romantic treat for audiences. The announcement has sparked excitement for the chemistry between the two debutants, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, with both promising fresh and engaging performances.
Junaid Khan, who made his debut in the Netflix film Maharaj, is carving out his own space in the industry with this exciting project. Maharaj, directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by YRF Entertainment, saw Junaid in a historical drama set in pre-independent India. Meanwhile, Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of the legendary actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, made her debut with The Archies on Netflix, directed by Zoya Akhtar. Loveyapa marks another significant milestone in her acting career, this time in the romantic comedy genre.
