Akshay Kumar, who is all set to play the role of Lord Shiva in the upcoming Telugu film Kannappa, was present at the teaser launch event of the film, where he shared his excitement about portraying such an iconic character. During the event, Akshay spoke about his recent visit to the Maha Kumbh Mela, where over 60 crore people gathered, and expressed his admiration for the way the event was managed.

He expressed his admiration for the recent Maha Kumbh Mela, where 60 crore people gathered. "It’s extraordinary. The UP Police managed everything incredibly well. I don’t think there is any other country that can manage 60 crore people for 45 days. Hats off to them. The way everything moved smoothly... I visited on Monday, and 4-5 crore people were there. My experience was very good."

Akshay also addressed the controversy surrounding his recent Mahakal Chalo song, where some people objected to him hugging the Shiv Ling. "Lord Shiva is our father. If I hug him with love, what is wrong with that? My strength comes from there. If someone misunderstands my devotion, it is not my fault."

He concluded by sharing his own philosophy of life. "Lord Shiva’s simplicity is something I have always embraced in my life. I have always tried to live simply, in a straightforward way."
