The meadows of Pahalgam, once echoing with tourist laughter and camera clicks, now carry the weight of silence after a tragic terror attack on April 22 that claimed 26 innocent lives — 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen. As the nation tries to process the unthinkable violence in what’s often called Kashmir’s crown jewel, voices from Bollywood are rising, not just with sorrow, but with strength.

Actor Raashii Khanna, who’s still riding high on her performance in The Sabarmati Report, traded red carpets for raw honesty. “I condemn violence. Every human being is condemning violence,” she said, visibly shaken. “I’ve seen some of the videos... anyone who has will feel their heart crack. We didn’t expect this — not in a place so peaceful, so postcard-perfect. But it’s touched every one of us, deeply.” No filters. No rehearsed lines. Just a gut-punch of truth.

She didn’t stop there. "I deeply give my support and love to the families who are grieving. I hope we fight this as a nation and come back strong." It’s the kind of sentiment that feels less like a soundbite and more like a collective prayer — one that’s rippling across timelines and tea stalls alike.

Last year, Raashii Khanna had a string of releases such as Yodha, Aranmanai 4, and The Sabarmati Report. In 2025, Raashii was seen in hit Aghathiyaa, next she will be seen in Telusu Kada and TME.
