Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda has once again made headlines after being rushed to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, early Wednesday morning. The 61-year-old star reportedly lost consciousness at his residence and was immediately taken to the hospital for emergency medical attention. He is currently under close observation, with doctors monitoring his condition around the clock.
Govinda’s friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, confirmed the news, stating that the actor initially received medication following a telephonic consultation with a doctor. However, his condition required urgent care, prompting his family to rush him to the hospital around 1 a.m. “Govinda is currently under observation, and his condition is stable,” Lalit shared, reassuring concerned fans.
This incident marks the second time within a year that the actor has faced a health emergency. In October last year, Govinda was admitted to the same hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the leg with a licensed revolver. The incident left him with a wound below the knee, requiring surgery in the ICU to safely remove the bullet. Fortunately, he made a full recovery at the time.
