Following the massive success of the first season in 2021, Squid Game returns with a direct continuation of Player 456, also known as Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae), who has a sneaky new plan to end the vicious games once and for all.
Set three years after Gi-hun's shocking victory in Season 1, the new season sees him turning down a lucrative opportunity to move to America. Instead, he comes back to South Korea, determined to take down the sinister game that continues to claim lives.
