The much-anticipated track "Money Money" from Raid 2, featuring the musical powerhouse Yo Yo Honey Singh, has finally dropped—and audiences are loving it. With the catchy beats and high-energy vibe, the song has quickly become a favorite for reels and dance floors alike.
T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, the man behind the music magic, shared his thoughts on the release and the overall musical landscape of the film. "When it comes to films, songs need to be created based on the situations in the story," Kumar explained. "In this film, music has found a really strong space. Usually, as a music label, we push to include songs—but in this case, the music has come in organically. There are two romantic tracks and two dance numbers that naturally fit the storyline."
Emphasizing the importance of music in marketing a film, he added: "I’ve always believed music plays a vital role in promoting a film. These days, people can dance to it, make reels—it connects directly with the audience."
On the origins of "Money Money," Kumar revealed that it was a long time in the making: "There was a great situation in the film that revolved around money, and I’d been telling Honey for a while—we need a track like ‘Lungi Dance’ from Chennai Express, something that resonates with the masses. He finally delivered this song, and it’s been a hit. People are loving it, and it’s going to work both as a standalone hit and within the narrative of the film."
Alongside lead actor Ajay Devgn and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh, the music video for 'Money Money' also features Jacqueline Fernandes and Riteish Deshmukh, who plays the antagonist in Raid 2."
