Neon has unleashed the haunting final trailer for Together, an inventive and unsettling body horror comedy from Australian filmmaker Michael Shanks. Slated for release on July 30, 2025, the film stars real-life couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco as lovers whose rural escape quickly descends into a nightmarish metamorphosis—of body, mind, and relationship.
Set in the quiet isolation of the countryside, Together follows Tim and Millie, a couple hoping to reset their strained relationship by trading city life for pastoral peace. But their fresh start turns grotesquely literal when a mysterious, otherworldly force invades their lives, twisting not only their connection but their very flesh. The trailer teases skin-crawling transformations, dark comedy, and an emotional unraveling that’s as disturbing as it is strangely romantic.
Also starring Damon Herriman, Sunny S Walia, Jack Kenny, and Mia Morrissey, the film mixes psychological tension with shocking visual effects and a biting satirical edge. Drawing comparisons to Possession and The Fly, Together takes the idea of “growing together” to grotesque new extremes, making it one of the most buzzed-about horror releases of the year.
With its bold genre mashup and emotionally raw performances, Together promises to leave audiences unnerved, amused, and unexpectedly moved. Equal parts grotesque and intimate, it’s a love story for those who aren’t afraid to get a little... warped.
