On his 51st birthday this Friday, Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn shared a hilarious and heartwarming birthday wish for his long-time collaborator and close friend, filmmaker Rohit Shetty. Known for their successful partnership in films, Ajay took to Instagram to wish Rohit with a playful post, captioning it, “To the man who makes madness look like magic. Happy birthday, bro! @itsrohitshetty.”
Ajay’s post included a video that perfectly encapsulated the essence of Rohit’s signature filmmaking style—an over-the-top, action-packed sequence featuring a toy car crashing into a toy truck. This playful tribute highlighted the filmmaker’s famous high-octane action sequences, which often include thrilling car chases, explosive slow-motion shots, and SUVs defying gravity. The two have teamed up for multiple blockbusters, including Zameen, the Golmaal franchise, All the Best: Fun Begins, Singham, and Bol Bachchan, cementing their place as one of Bollywood’s most iconic director-actor duos.
In addition to the funny video, Ajay also shared a picture of the two together, showing their strong bond both professionally and personally. Their latest collaboration, Singham 3, is set to be another thrilling entry into Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. The film, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff, promises to deliver more of the explosive action fans have come to expect from the duo. Singham 3 was shot across various locations including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kashmir, and Sri Lanka.
On the acting front, Ajay Devgn has a busy year ahead. He will reprise his role in the much-awaited sequel Son of Sardaar 2, alongside Mrunal Thakur and Sanjay Dutt. The film follows the success of the first Son of Sardaar, released in 2012, which was inspired by the Telugu hit Maryada Ramanna. Additionally, Ajay will also star in De De Pyaar De 2, the sequel to his 2019 romantic comedy, which will feature R. Madhavan alongside him. Fans can expect a lot of Ajay Devgn's signature style of storytelling and action in the coming months.
