Warner Bros. has just unleashed the spine-tingling trailer for Companion, a new sci-fi horror film that blends technology, humanity, and terrifying uncertainty. Written and directed by Drew Hancock, the film stars Sophie Thatcher, Jack Quaid, Lukas Gage, Megan Suri, Harvey Guillén, and Rupert Friend in a haunting story that questions what it means to be truly human.

In Companion, the lines between human and machine blur as a young woman is given a robotic companion designed to provide love, companionship, and care. However, as the eerie plot unravels, it becomes unclear whether this companion is a mere machine—or if there is something more human, and far more sinister, lurking beneath the surface. As the characters are drawn deeper into a world of deception, fear, and chilling unpredictability, they must confront the terrifying question: Can you trust what you think is human?

The trailer teases a world where technology and humanity intertwine in dangerous ways, setting the stage for a psychological thriller that’s as mind-bending as it is nerve-wracking. With Sophie Thatcher leading a stellar cast, Companion promises to be a haunting exploration of isolation, artificial intelligence, and the fragility of the mind.

Set to hit theaters nationwide on January 10, 2025, with international releases starting on January 8, 2025, Companion is shaping up to be one of the must-see films of early 2025. If you’re a fan of mind-bending sci-fi and spine-chilling horror, mark your calendars and prepare for a ride into the dark unknown.
