Shahid Kapoor Expresses Concern Over Saif Ali Khan’s Health Following Stabbing Incident

At the trailer launch event for his upcoming film Deva, Shahid Kapoor took a moment to express his shock and concern over the recent stabbing incident involving Saif Ali Khan. The tragic event, which unfolded on January 16 when an intruder attacked Saif at his Mumbai residence, left the film fraternity and fans in disbelief.
 
Shahid, visibly affected by the news, shared, “What you're saying is a sad incident, and we all are concerned. Everyone from the film fraternity is concerned. You asked it indirectly, but it would have been more respectful to ask directly. We hope Saif's health improves, and that he is feeling better. We were all shocked by what happened. It’s something that took place in such a personal space, in a city like Mumbai, where this kind of thing rarely happens. I am sure the police are doing their job.”
 
Expressing his faith in the safety of Mumbai, Shahid continued, “Mumbai is a safe city. People can travel at night without fear, and this incident has left all of us shaken. We are all hoping and praying for Saif’s recovery.”
 
Saif Ali Khan was reportedly stabbed six times during the attack, with a knife lodged in his spine, causing leakage of spinal fluid. The actor was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where doctors performed surgery to repair the damage. Thankfully, Saif is now stable and recovering well, with the hospital confirming that he is out of danger.
 
The entire incident has left the film industry, fans, and the general public in shock, but it’s reassuring to know that Saif is on the path to recovery, surrounded by the support of his loved ones and the prayers of many.
