The wait is over for Ram Charan fans! The superstar dropped the teaser for his upcoming song ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ from his much-awaited pan-Indian film Peddi — and it’s already setting the internet abuzz. Sharing the teaser on social media, Ram Charan wrote, “Here is the promo of #ChikiriChikiri, The world will groove to this brilliant composition of @arrahman sir! Full song out on 7th NOV at 11:07 AM.”
The 24-second teaser is a burst of color, energy, and rhythm — perfectly capturing the rural soul of 1980s Andhra Pradesh. Charan, in a rugged, long-haired look, is seen performing energetic yet graceful dance moves amidst rolling hills, cattle, and village festivities. Sung by Mohit Chauhan, the track carries A.R. Rahman’s unmistakable magic, blending folk charm with global groove.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana — who previously made waves with Uppena — Peddi is shaping up to be a grand rural saga. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady and Shiva Rajkumar in a pivotal role. The term “Chikiri”, rooted in Telugu folk dialect, loosely translates to a playful ticklish vibe — and fans are already calling it “the next viral dance anthem.”
Visually, the teaser promises stunning cinematography by Rathnavelu, with vibrant art direction by Avinash Kolla and crisp editing by Navin Nooli. The rustic aesthetic, coupled with Rahman’s electrifying beats, sets the stage for what could become one of the most memorable musical moments of the year.
With Peddi slated for a global theatrical release on March 27, 2026, and ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ dropping in full on November 7, 2025, fans are already counting down the days. One thing’s certain — when Ram Charan dances to Rahman’s tune, the world listens (and grooves).
