Actor Prabhas, who attended the pre-release event of his upcoming film The RajaSaab in Hyderabad on Saturday evening, shared his admiration for co-star Sanjay Dutt, who plays a pivotal role in the much-awaited horror-fantasy entertainer. The event witnessed massive fan enthusiasm as the team spoke about the film and their experiences working together.
Speaking candidly at the event, Prabhas opened up about watching Sanjay Dutt’s scenes during the dubbing process and how the veteran actor left a lasting impression on him. Praising Dutt’s commanding presence, Prabhas said, “Sanjay sir… just your screen presence is more than enough. When they put a close-up on you, you completely consume the screen. When I watched his scenes during dubbing, I started forgetting my own scenes.” His words drew loud cheers from the audience, underlining Dutt’s impact in the film.
The trailer of The RajaSaab, which was unveiled in September, has already created strong buzz. The three-minute and thirty-one-second trailer opens with a gripping sequence where Prabhas’ character is seen being controlled through hypnosis by Boman Irani’s character, instantly setting a dark and mysterious tone. The trailer also highlights the film’s fantasy elements along with Prabhas’ romantic track involving the three leading ladies.
Directed and written by Maruthi, The RajaSaab is produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment. Along with Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt, the film features an ensemble cast including Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar in key roles, adding to the film’s pan-India appeal.
The RajaSaab is slated for a grand pan-India theatrical release on January 9, 2026, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. With Prabhas’ star power, Sanjay Dutt’s intense screen presence, and a unique horror-fantasy backdrop, the film has emerged as one of the most anticipated releases of 2026.
