Netflix has just dropped the official trailer for its upcoming Argentinian mystery thriller series, Caught, and it’s already sending chills down our spines. Set against the stunning backdrop of Argentina’s Patagonia region, the series promises to deliver suspense, drama, and twists that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
Starring Soledad Villamil as Ema Garay, a sharp and ambitious journalist, Caught follows her rise to prominence in the digital media world by exposing criminals who manage to slip through the cracks of the justice system. However, Ema's life takes a dramatic turn when she begins investigating the mysterious disappearance of a 16-year-old girl. The plot thickens when Leo Mercer (played by Juan Minujín), a well-respected figure in the community, becomes the prime suspect in her investigation. Based on Harlan Coben’s novel Caught, the series is written by Miguel Cohan and Ana Cohan, and showrun by Miguel Cohan, who also directs alongside Hernán Goldfrid. With a stellar cast that includes Alberto Ammann, Matías Recalt, Fernán Mirás, Mike Amigorena, and Carmela Rivero, Caught is set to be a thrilling, character-driven mystery full of unexpected twists.
