Dropped by Munawar himself on social media, the teaser comes with his signature flair: “Maal nakli hai, par Arif ka swag bilkul asli hai! First Copy streaming this June only on Amazon MX Player for FREE!” With this bold announcement, the excitement is off the charts.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of 1990s Mumbai, First Copy dives deep into the high-stakes world of film piracy, where the glitz of Bollywood collides with the dark underbelly of the industry. The teaser offers a tantalizing peek into Arif’s (played by Munawar) journey—a humble guy who rises to become the mastermind behind a booming piracy empire. As the biggest players from the industry and their allies scramble to take him down, Arif is thrust into a perilous game of survival, where trust is scarce, and danger lurks at every corner.
