Kohrra fans were thrilled with the much-anticipated reveal of the first look for Season 2 during Netflix's 2025 slate release. Barun Sobti returns as Amarpal Jasjit Garundi, who finds himself transferred to a new location in the second season. Joining the cast this time is Mona Singh, who plays Dhanwant Kaur, Amarpal's boss.
The trailer for the new season has certainly raised expectations and left audiences excited. Mona Singh shared her experience working on the show and reflected on her journey with Kohrra.
She said, "It's been a very beautiful, satisfying, and challenging journey for me. This is my first time playing a cop, and there have been so many firsts for me in this show. For the first time, I've done action scenes, for the first time I've reported on duty—so many new experiences.
I’ve truly enjoyed playing a cop. We were shooting in Amritsar, and it was extremely cold, especially during those long, cold nights. But working with Sudeep sir, Barun, and the entire team was such a joy. As an actor and as a person, I feel happy and completely satisfied with this experience."
The second season of Kohrra, written and created by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia, and Sudip Sharma, is once again helmed by Sharma, who serves as the showrunner. Sharma also shares co-directorial duties with Faisal Rahman. The series is produced by Film Squad Productions in collaboration with Act Three Productions.
