At the inaugural Amazon MX Player StreamNext event  in Mumbai on Thursday , Amogh Dusad, Head of Content at the platform, unveiled an exciting lineup of over 100 new shows set to launch throughout the year. Among the highlights were 40 brand-new Hindi originals, alongside returning seasons of popular shows like Aashram, Hunter, Jamnapaar, Half CA, Hip Hop India, Sixer, Who’s Your Gynac, and Playground.
 
One of the most talked-about returns is Who’s Your Gynac, which is gearing up for its second season. Actress and co-star Saba Azad spoke passionately about the show’s mission, specifically its focus on tackling an often-avoided subject: female sexual health.
 
In her remarks, Saba emphasized how Who’s Your Gynac aims to bring much-needed attention to an issue that is rarely discussed openly in society. “With this show, we were hoping to touch upon a very important topic—female sexual health. It is a very important topic that doesn’t get spoken about enough, and I’m delighted that Amazon MX Player chose to put this show on their platform as a female-first story,” she shared.
 
While the subject matter is undoubtedly serious, Saba highlighted the challenge of approaching such a sensitive topic with the right tone. “It’s about conveying the seriousness of the issue while keeping the conversation light,” she explained. "I think it's just trying to get that point across with lightness and not so serious..but it is a very serious topic. so to do that with lightness was challenging."
 
By presenting a narrative that combines humor with awareness, Who’s Your Gynac Season 2 is set to continue breaking taboos around sexual health while encouraging open conversation.
