Titled Shanky, the song features Isha alongside singer-composer Sanju Rathod in a vibrant, Afrobeat-inspired Marathi pop track. Sanju Rathod, who has crooned, penned, and composed the track, brings a youthful energy that perfectly complements Isha’s screen presence. Speaking about stepping into Marathi music and her collaboration with Sanju, Isha shared, “My experience was great and I have been a girl who loves Marathi culture, so I have always wanted to step in Marathi culture, so this is my first ever Marathi song with Sanju, and I have made my Marathi debut with such a talented artist, and I couldn’t be more happier. I think it’s destiny—Sanju and I have been meeting for a long time, socially we would often meet or pass each other, and we were certain that we both wanted to work with one another, and I think it was just the right time, we came together for Shanky song.”
When asked about how she’s handling her rising fame, Isha responded with striking honesty: “I have made plenty of blunders in my life, and I am not a perfect person, and trust me I am aware, anything can go wrong in this life at any point of time, and if you’re trending right now, and reached a good place in career, one wrong move can bring it all down, I know this with certainty, even my folks told me, the day arrogance seeps into your attitude, you won’t survive long in career, might as well book a ticket and return home. So I have a very clear rule, I don’t think that I have done it all, still I have plenty to learn, plenty to achieve in life, and this is my thought process.” With humility and ambition fueling her journey, Isha Malviya is not just experimenting with genres and languages—she’s carving out a lasting space in the entertainment world.
