Newcomer Shubhashish Jha who played the entertaining role of a boxer in an episodic tale of Channel V’s Twist Wala Love has now bagged the role of the parallel lead in Zee TV’s popular show, Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films).

Shubhashish will play the role of Sameer, a simple and nice guy who would go on to be the love interest of Kaynat (Kashish Vohra), sister of the main lead, Rajbeer Singh.

As per sources, “While the main protagonists Mahira (Surbhi Jyoti) and Azaad (Rajbeer Singh) will have a love-hate relationship going, Kaynat and Sameer will have a cute love story. The introductory sequence of Sameer will be when he will heroically save Kaynat from goons.”

In addition to Shubhashish, known actress Heli Daruwala will also enter the show. She will play the sister of Sameer, and love interest of Amaad (Ankit Raj).

His entry will be aired tonight (21 September).
