Earlier this year, Rajan Shahi’s popular daily soap on Star Plus 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata' had completed five years of success.Currently the show is going pretty strong on the TVT charts of popularity and  just aired its 1400th episode and is still going strong.The very first episode was telecast on Star Plus on January, 12, 2009.

Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain started five years back with a simple story of an arranged marriage between the leads Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naitik (Karan Mehra) and this simple story is still going strong among the audience.
