Karan Wahi was almost finalised to play the lead but the deal has fallen flat. And taking over as the new hero is the good looking and charming Vatsal Sheth.
Yes, it is time for a comeback for this green eyed hottie!
Shared a confirmed source, “The makers always wanted a good looking and also a superb talented actor for this show. With Wahi out, the makers and channel decided to rope in Vatsal who fits the role completely.”
Interestingly, Vatsal had played the character of the grey shade lead Shaurya in Ek Hasina Thi, which too was based in a Bengali background.
Now coming to the prized role of the female lead, newbie Aalisha Panwar has managed to win the race. She will be seen romancing Vatsal in the show. Aalisha who hails from Shimla has been part of &TV’s Begusarai and this is her first major role.
Other actors who have been signed are Lalit Parimoo, Pankaj Dheer, Shresth Kumar, Ekta Mukherjee, Pyumori Mehta, Debhashish Naha and Piyali Munshi.
Aalisha confirmed the news and said, “It is all thanks to my coordinators Senorita Gupta and Happy Vij that I got such wonderful shows. Also a special thanks to my late grandfather and my parents for always supporting me. I am really excited about the show.”
