Seasoned actress Supriya Shukla aka Sarla of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ fame has bagged a new show.

She will be seen in the role of a mother again but in a new genre.

A source revealed, “Our source informs, "Supriya Shukla has signed a new show with Sanjay Kohli on SAB TV. The show is titled as 'Saheb, Biwi aur Boss.' She will be portraying a role of not only a loving and caring mother, but an equally loving mother in law. In fact she will be more strict towards her son and not daughter-in-law."

When contacted Supriya confirmed he news and shard, "Yes, I have signed a new show, where I will be playing the role of a mother yet again but it will be definitely different from my previous work. Being a SAB TV show, it will add a quotient of comedy to it which I am really looking forward to play."

So will she be quitting ‘Kumkum bhagya’?

 "No, Kumkum Bhagya is very near and dear to me and so is my character Sarla. But now, as the show does not require much time of mine, I had a word with the team and then decided to take up this new show, where I can step into a new genre of comedy," signs off the actress.
