Life OK's show 'Piya Rangrez' will go through a major revamp post leap.
Actress Gulki Joshi was roped in to play the lead character of Aradhya. However, she hasbeen replaced by actress Sreejita De overnight.
When contacted Sreejita confirmed the news and shared, "Yes, I am excited to be a part of the show. I have just started shooting yesterday and it is amazing. I am co-starring Gaurav, with whom I also worked in 'Uttaran' so we go a long way back together. Also, there are so many co-actors I have worked with before. So, its really warm and amazing to be a part of such a show."
"It is really sad and disheartening if the replacement has happened in such a manner. The actor is sure to feel upset about it. However, I think, one should take it in the right manner and move on with it. I can say this easily as I have gone through such a situation myself. I was a part of 'Uttaran' and was then replaced. But after two and a half years I joined again. So, you never know what destiny awaits!"
She adds, "Instead of taking it up on heart, one should move on and feel there is something bigger that lies ahead. I am honoured to be stepping into the shoes of a character which has already set a benchmark. It is challenging, but I hope I do justice to it."
