Smriti Irani the famous Television Bahu creates history in Amethi . Amethi has always been a strong hold for the Gandhi’s and has been ruling there since past 15 years. Television star defeats rahul Gandhi in Amethi in 2014 lok sabha elections.

T.V star’s victory however creates a little tension in producer Ekta Kapoor’s  mind.  Ms Irani was all set to return to television industry by playing role in famous television soap “ Kyunki Saans bhi Kabhi Bahu thi. TV’s czarina wanted to recreate the success and magic of her show yet again and she was hoping that Smriti joins her in her second innings too. Apparently so did Ekta Kapoor, which is why she has offered our former Tulsi the role of Baa in the second innings of the show. We wonder if superstitious Ekta feels that her Tulsi is lucky for her or is the smart producer trying to cash in on Smriti‘s current political popularity?

Smriti’s political popularity and her ability to connect to the people instantly and thus defeating the mighty Gandhi’s in Amethi. Clearly this election shows BJP invasion in congress territory. However we would like to congratulate the t.V star on her outstanding win and hope that as she entertained audience for so many years now is the time she serves them and fulfill their wish and meet their expectation
