Second Kannada film signed by Nikki

News Helpline | January, 01 2012

She has debuts lined up in four languages — Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam — that are yet to hit screens. But filmmakers, it would seem, are not worried that Nikki Galrani, actress Sanjjanaa's younger sister, is yet to prove her acting prowess, instead they are signing her up for new projects.
The young actress, who will mark her debut with the Kannada version of the Tamil film Paiyya, called Ajith, has signed up for yet another remake. This time, Nikki will be seen in the Kannada remake of Swami Rara, a hit Telugu flick. "I am paired with Prajwal Devaraj in this as-yet-untitled film, to be directed by Vishnu. I play a journalist in the film and the character is very cute and innocent. Prajwal plays a thief in the film," says Nikki, adding. "It's strange though. Prajwal is too nice a guy to play a thief."
As for her other films, the actress tells us that she has two song shoots pending for Ajith, while her Malayalam film 1983, and her Tamil-Telugu bilingual Yagavarayinum Naa Kakka, are ready for release.
