TV actress Pallavi Subhash has already being roped in to play the role of king Ashoka and the latest we hear is that popular actor Sameer Dharmadhikari has also been signed.
Sameer Dharmadhikari will be seen playing the character of Bindusara, Ashoka's father. The shooting for the show will begin soon and the hunt for a child actor to play Ashoka is still on.
When contacted, Sameer said, "Yes, I am in final talks with the production house. I have a very long association with them, so it would be great to work with them."
