Sandalwood actress-turned-politician Ramya, who has been in New Delhi since her win from the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency, was on Tuesday evening admitted to a hospital in Delhi following high fever. Her spokesperson took to her social networking page to announce the news, but added that there was no reason to panic.
"Ramya has been admitted at Apollo in Delhi. Nothing to panic. The last one month has been very stressful and she is down with a viral infection. She has been unwell since Sunday and still made the trip to Delhi as she had prior commitments for her constituency (Mandya). She shall be back soon. She will be touring her constituency starting from the 7th (September 7) . Let's pray for her speedy recovery," Ramya's spokesperson wrote.
Once back in the Karnataka, Ramya is expected to also join the sets of her pending films. Schedules of her films Neer Dose, Dil Ka Raja and Aryan have already been delayed because of her political commitments. The actress has one other project to wind up, Kodi Ramakrishna's untitled film with Diganth, but that has been delayed for a while owing to the filmmaker's ill health
