Actor Parineeti Chopra visited the city on Friday to be a part of the 24th Pune Festival.

Looking pretty in an Indian ensemble, Parineeti enjoyed the cultural evening at the inaugural ceremony of the Festival. "I loved how the whole city came together to celebrate. From students to celebrities, everyone was there. And, I am so proud that the show was in Marathi," she told us.

The actress had visited the city during the shoot of her debut film. "But at that time I never got a chance to really see Pune, she says, adding, "This is the first time that I got to experience the cultural side of the city through the Pune Festival. Though Pune is just three hours away from Mumbai, it has its own distinct features that make it unique."
