To keep viewers intact with the show, makers of Zee TV's popular historical drama "Jodha Akbar" have decided to introduce another negative character in the track named Maha Chuchak.
As per reports, makers of the show have roped in Mita Vashisht, to play the role of Maha Chuchak, power hungry women.
If sources are to be believed, Mita will play the role of Akbar's step mother, who will eye on Jalal’s throne. For her aim she would even try to kill Akbar.
Reportedly, Kashmira Shah was approached for the role but finally the project fell in the lap of Mita.
Confirming the reports, Mita said, "I have been told she has a reference in history. The character is completely unsual and I am looking forward to playing it."
Besides, this a new character Chand begum will also soon enter in the story line.
