After taking digs at actor-comedian Kapil Sharma in his new TV show — Comedy Nights Live, actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek now hopes that Kapil's new show does well.
Krushna, who is currently hosting Comedy Nights Live on Colors, said, “Nobody is embarrassed. We all want to present good shows. I think Kapil also wants the same. Lets’see.” He said at the Colors Annual Party.
“When Comedy Nights Bachao started we also faced taunts. However the show was popular, those comments didn’t bother us. I wish good luck to Kapil. I hope he comes up with another great comedy shows. And I am saying this from my heart. I appreciate him as an actor. I hope both our shows become successful.” Krushna added.
The Kapil-Krushna dispute goes back to the season of Comedy Circus when Kapil defeated Krushna in the finale of a few seasons, consecutively. Krushna had then blamed the makers for being biased towards Kapil.
The recent tiff began while Kapil's show Comedy Nights with Kapil was replaced by the channel (Colors) with Comedy Nights Live after the actor-comedian had differences with the channel. Kapil is now coming up with The Kapil Sharma Show. Afterward, Krushna who took over the reins of Comedy Nights had slammed Kapil for being insecure and running away from competition.
However, Kapil maintained a stony silence over the whole dispute post his way out from the show. His group including Ali Asgar, Kiku Sharda and Sunil Grover too have abstained from making any provocative remarks about the same.
'The Kapil Sharma Show', which is all set to begin on April 23 on Sony TV, will see Shah Rukh Khan in its first episode.
