The Karnataka Election Commission has applied a ban  on release of films of contesting candidates in big screen and small screen.

At least 15 cinema actors' names are heard in the different political parties list as on today. But nothing has been final. There is no provision of such actors' films screening in big and small screen.

The most affected is Udaya Comedy show. More than 50 percent of the comedy shows clips consist from 140 films of comedy hero Jaggesh. Udaya Films cannot go with actor films and it has to be a very careful.

As on today Ambarish who is contesting from Mandya has 'Bul Bul' set for release in this month has to wait till May 5th the day voting will be held.

Actress Pooja Gandhi has a few films ready for release. Among them 'January 1 Bidugade' all set for release has to wait. Umasri veteran in supporting roles has over 300 films to her credit is contesting from Teredal assembly segment , Rakshita not acting today but her films are quite often fodder for space filling in television channels, Malavika Avinash attended the shoot of 'Sakkathagnavne' has no problems her films in Tamil get released.
