When Sandalwood choreographer Imran Sardhariya  announced that he'd be turning director, it was to be with a bromance starring Yash, Diganth and Prajwal Devaraj. But that film failed to take off. Imran, though, was not deterred, and has now decided to fulfill his filmmaking dreams with a project starring Srinagara Kitty and Ramya, a pair that was last seen together onscreen in the award-winning Sanju Weds Geetha. Called Endendigu, the film will start rolling in September.

Imran clarifies that Endendigu is based on a new script and has nothing to do with his earlier story. "I had another story in mind, for which I thought Kitty and Ramya would be ideal. I approached them with the script and they happily agreed to work with me. So my directorial debut will be with Endendigu," he says
