Hansika's shooting schedule in Switzerland for Settai came to a disastrous end when her bag containing costly gadgets and cosmetics was stolen from the shooting spot. While the local co-ordinator had apparently filed a complaint with the police, Hansika had to return home empty-handed.

The actress just returned to Mumbai, and the first thing she did was buy what she lost. "She was really upset that her favourite things have been stolen. The loss amounts to at least ` 15 lakhs! It's been a nightmare for her," her mom says.

Apparently, Hansika had kept things including cash in a bag, and since it was raining, they had left it inside the car. They were shooting at a little distance and when they returned, they found the bag missing.

Her mom adds, "We are disappointed that the local manager, Raja, wasn't able to safeguard our belongings. He told us that he had filed a complaint with the local police, but he wasn't able to provide us with the complaint number. We would have managed on our own if it was in India, but we were unsure of the formalities in a foreign country."
