Like any common man singer “Gurdas Maan” has a special liking for his old numbers. That's why he sings them often during his concerts in India as well as abroad. Recently, when he went to US, he said, "I can not sing my old songs. They come as a special demand from my fans. In fact, a lot of time I don't get a chance to sing anything new because my listeners love my old tracks a lot."
In US, his rendition, which ranged from the foot tapping Bhangra to the serenading Punjab folk, had everyone asking for more. Maan sang 1981 chartbuster Dil Da Mamla, besides Apna Punjab Hove etc from his old collection.
