Pakistani actress Veena Malik starrer Telugu flick Rangeela has been cleared with an A-certificate by the Censor Board. The film has been dubbed from the Bollywood film Zindagi 50-50, starring Veena in bold avatars.

Veena plays the role of a prostitute in the film, for which she actually met one to get into the skin of her character. The film also stars Riya Sen , Rajan Verma, Arya Babbar, Supriya Kumari, Rajpal Yadav and Murli Sharma. About her character, Veena said, "I think this character is realistic rather than bold. This is a true story of a girl and I have given more than my 100 percent, thanks to Madhuri, the character I am playing".

Recently Veena made her Sandalwood debut with the Kannada movie Silk Sakkath Hot Maga. The movie is the remake of critically-acclaimed Bollywood film Dirty Picture, starring Vidya Balan. The film is based on the troubled life of Silk Smitha, a South Indian actress noted for her erotic roles. In order to get into the skin of Silk's role on screen, Veena donned skimpy clothes and enacted several bold scenes with her co-stars in the film.
