The main cast Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya (KLTA), minus Power Star Srinivasan, will be returning for another fun-filled family entertainer. The film, titled Vaaliba Raja, will have Santhanam, Sethu and Vishakha Singh (the heroine in the earlier film) as part of its cast and will be directed by Sai Gokul Ramanath, an associate of KV Anand.

Says producer H Murali, "I was the line producer of KLTA. Even during its shoot, I was looking for a subject to do a film with the same team. Sai Gokul narrated a story that impressed both Santhanam and me. We decided to do the film right away."

The film will go on the floors on June 19 and the team is hoping to complete the shoot by August itself. Santhanam's character in the film is called Raja and he plays a psychiatrist. Sethu plays a designer. "We are in talks with a leading heroine for the film's other female lead," he informs.
