
Yesterday, 24th October, was a sad day for Ekta Kapoor, the czarina of Television. A fire broke out on the sets of one of her shows and it apparently turned to ashes. According to a report in IANS, a fire broke out at the Killick Nixon studio in Chandivili on Friday night (24th October, 2014) where the shooting of the TV show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" was taking place.
However, the good part is that there were no causalities. The fire was brought under control as five to six fire engines were rushed to the studio. A source also said that the actors were shooting an important sequence when this tragedy took place. The lead actress of the show, Divyanka Tripathi also tweeted, "Everyone including the artists and the crew members are safe"
