News has been doing the rounds for a while that Neram fame Nazriya Nazim will be playing the lead in Sharath Haridasan's debut film titled Salala Mobiles. However, since her Kollywood movie, Naiyandi, where she is paired opposite Dhanush, is getting delayed, the director was forced to look for a replacement.

But now we hear that Nazriya has apparently given her nod for the project. "Nazriya called me up the other day and has given her confirmation for the project. Dulquer Salmaan, will be playing the lead role here. Dulquer had signed up for the film in January itself," he says.
Salala Mobiles is a love story between a mobile shop owner and a girl, who is a regular at the shop. "The story is all about how this guy tries to find out the whereabouts of the girl," says Sharath and further adds, that, "The shop is named Salala Mobiles as his uncle works in Salala, a city in Oman. And he is the one who sets up the shop for him. I can't reveal more about the story now except that it's an out and out comedy film."
